Improved LSB image steganography with high imperceptibility based on cover‐stego matching

Information security is an important factor when critical information transferred. This paper concentrates on finding a method that can hide message in image without making any changes to it. The proposed novel and based the Least Significant Bit (LSB) with high imperceptibility capacity. Initially, secret bits are compressed using LZW technique, then embedded into LSB of edge pixels cover which have same bit values. As result, remain unchanged stego matches image. addresses contain maintained file called “location addresses” receiver uses retrieve message. It possible will not be transmitted if it was previously specified by sender receiver. Image quality metrics applied several standard images. obtained PSNR for infinity, SSIM NCC one, MSE AD zero different embedding capacities all images, ensures image's excellent imperceptibility.
